OMG! it was the Forge / Litchfield GTR!!!

Is it Liam's own car though...with all his Monster Energy sponsors on it guess it might be. Still what a waste of a car!

Yep and had no insurance :surprised: according to pistonheads

looking at the Forge site it seems the GTR might have had a few GoPro camera's on it!

That footage would be interesting if it ever got released.

One thing is for certain, The GTR was first in the corner

Still a waste, as it's not a race  :sad1:

Over the top mod list ;o)

Lots of people forgot that today.

Also a Mk4 GTI from the UK went up in smoke as it caught fire out on the circuit and there where no fire extinguishers handy  :sad1:

The Harry's lap timer screen grab from today

And update from the event organisers

Important Update

Hi All

Due to accident damaged catch fencing at Turn 1 of the GP Track - we have to run with a speed restrcition in place at the end of the straight starting 400 meters before and around the 1st corner.

Please be aware of the 'work zone' and respect the traffic cones and speed limit signs - and be especially aware of other traffic in what now a reduced track width.

I'm relieved to confirm the driver of the GTR involved in the incident is OK, but the remedial work to the safety fencing is substantial and will probably take 'a week'

We will be reminding all drivers about this as you exit the pit lane in the morning.

Enjoy the weissbier, see you in the morning.

Darren

What sort of machinery have you got to play against steve?

Looks dry, are you on the slicks?

Did the GTR have a cage fitted?  Id hope so as that looked like a big crash
