The 8s suit the stage 2+ cars really well. Ive just come back from a country road drive and the engine was silky smooth.

8's are cooler-(cool faster than 7's) but not needed unless you are running it hot for long durations which cause misfires. The oem plugs really are some good plugs.

I have had to go with the 8 as i had missfires under load with the stock Bosch plugs.

Right, sometimes hit or miss with those misfires. You are one of the lucky ones that had them where plugs was the fix. I've been luckier and not had them at all.
