Dan with the sweet candy white tsi invited me over to this forum so thought id better post up.
I have the same car as dan but in red. (and not mapped  :driver: ha not yet anyway!)
mods iv done,
colour-coded gti rear valance, with gti style tailpipes.
tinted the rear lights.
smoothed the front plate recess, black/red front badge
yellow fogs








plans are to lower it 40mil, black roof and mirrors, new wheels, thinking along the lines of porsche rims... dan did 2 PS's for me

Not keen on the porsche rims =/

cheers mate  :smiley: no its the 140 spec tsi. wt model is yours (im taking it the car in ur sig is yours)
and as for the rims, im not 100% decided on what I want yet, just want something different, dont want to go down the BBS route. so was thinking more oldschool, porsche / merc wheels

Mines the 170ps version.... had it re-mapped to 198bhp :smiley:

-- hmm i see where you coming from with old skwl wheels.... not easy to get a set in good condition though =/

I like the old Aston Martin wheels  :happy2:

I like the monza's but really want something different now, im looking desperately for some "older" wheels that I can get refurbed and powder-coated.

I think the Porsche wheels would work if you gave them a nice grey respray.

My wheels are similar to the Turbo doglegs, but they're split rim and designed for a Merc.  I did a quick (and rather poor) photochop as I cant afford the tyres and coilovers right now, I think they suit it really well - click for a bigger pic

Houses are evil things...its why my car only has 17s, 200bhp and high suspension :(
