Great pics mate,
Though the rear of the car looks alarmingly high, not seen one nosediving like that before. Standard suspension, or has it been replaced at some point?

Nice pics and nice car mate. I like a well cared for OEM GTI.

I'm from Edinburgh and travel across to Dunfermline a lot (gf). So it made sense to me to book my car into Star Performance in Kirkcaldy, Fife. Jim there knows a lot about Audi/VW's so it was in safe hands. It was £150, IIRC, all in.

You could probably buy the CC stock from VW (£65-70) and get a member on here to fit and code it for you for beer tokens. I know Golfman in Dundee is handy with a laptop and VW's...

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, need to properley get a detail session then shoot it after.

Reflex11 - Thanks! I used my sony NEX5 with 18-55mm and software was Lightroom 4.

Dodds-GTTDI - "fit like?" thank you and cheers for the info pal, Scott's been in touch about the cruise control so still need to email him back, will be something that i will get as the old R had it and i find myself going for it all the time and its not there  :scared:

BIG AL - I see what your on about in the first pick it looks as though it's trying to eat the ground. got a bit worried!, but have been out and had a proper look at it on a level ground and cant say i notice when walking around the car that its nose diving. If i can remember there was a slight dip in the ground, drivers side when i parked up to take the photos, making it lean towards drivers side. Everything on the car is stock at the momment.

ScottyVXR - How the devil? how you finding your VXR, didn't take you long to get rid of the R32! What was it two weeks or something haha! not tempted to go get another GTI or Eddy? you away just now or still at home?

I'm finding the VXR ok I suppose. So still miss my GTI tho. Just wish I could have found a decent Eddy near hand. I'm certain I'll end up in another dub. Might need to wait a while for the sake of my marriage tho!
I'm away just now - home a week thurs. You?
