snow foam replacement bottle and tube
« on: March 22, 2012, 04:14:36 pm »
Hello folks, just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a bigger snow foam bottle with tube.
I bought my snow foamer about 6 years ago when they were in their infancy, and only came with one size bottle. This worked ok with my old karcher pressure washer, but since I bought a Nilfisk, the bottle empties after half a car :signLOL:
This is the type I have, may look battle scared, but does the job

That's a very odd design but as you say may have been the precursor to the current model.

My 1 litre Megs bottle fits fine and the tube looks exactly like you'd get with the Megs spray head. Have you got one of these to try?

Just checked DW, its 5year old and was from elite car care, was the only style available apart from the gilmour!
I've only got Meguiars bottles full of product, and cheap autoglym ones off keith. Just thought someone might have had a similar antique that could shed some light

Confession time - it was Megs bottles that I had been thinking about! Decant the Megs Stuff into another container and try it out.

The tube is way too small off the megs bottle, back to square one :sad1:

Small as being too narrow or too short? Did you try swapping the tube from the Megs bottle? I'll have a look at my snowfoam lance later.

Okay I've just had a look. The two tubes I have are both thinner and stiffer than the snowfoam tube.

I'd recommend getting in touch with autobrite-direct and asking they have any spare tubes lying around. I suspect it comes as one roll and they just cut it to length. Just hoping you don't have to buy another lance. Alternatively, you could look on ebay/hardware shops for something similar.
