JagGTI Candy White
« on: April 09, 2012, 12:37:33 am »
Hi guys,

I purchased a Candy White Golf GTi yesterday (Manual) after waiting for over a month while on the hunt for the right one. The whites seem to sell a lot higher than the rest.

Completely standard at the moment but came with good spec and full service history (64000 mileage) to provide me with a solid base to start modding.

Spec - 2005, Heated Interlagos leather seats, Auto Xenon lights, mdf2 sat nav unit, 6CD changer in armrest, climate control, auto wipers, auto dimming side mirrors and rear view, electric mirrors, highline computer

I have loved every minute in it so far, but being 7 years old the car does have some niggles which will be sorted in due time.

18" Monza alloys (all suffering from white worm so will need changing to some other BBS or refurb)
Rear VW boot badge also suffering from white worm so will need changing
The bonnet does not open everytime and I have to apply some pressure whilst someone pulls the lever for it to open. I think this just needs a clean and wd40 and should hopefully be fine.

Besides this the car is completely solid. I have enjoyed every minute of it so far and have a long list of things I'd like to do with it
Starting with colour coding the rear valance this week so will hopefully have some updated pictures for you by next weekend.

So far done LED for the front side lights and rear number number plate lights, went with red for footwell lights to match the interior ambience lighting. Pictures not great as taken off my phone. A lot more to come. Colour coding and some BBS wheels coming soon.
