The TT wishbones, are they from a mk1 or mk2 TT? I presume mk2?

Today I visited a well known tuner based in deepest Befordshire..

.. can you guess who it is yet?!

Bilsteins:

TT wishbones and Autotech rear anti roll bar (not yet unpacked):

OE steel wishbones removed:

Removed the OE vRS console bush (voided)..

.. replaced with the TT solid bushes:

No pics of the car with everything fitted up as it was dark by the time Alex had finished and also chucking it down with snow.  Lousy trip back with the weather but got home in one piece thankfully..  It'll be back to AKS hopefully some time next week to get the ride height setup.

Thanks for all your efforts today Alex!

 :happy2:

Next:  TT shifter, MFSW, OEM shark fin antenna.

My car!

Great mods! Looking forward to seeing the neuspeeds on!

ha ha.. yes, just snuck in the picture there..  :)  Looks great Mike - I didn't take a pic of it at the end of the day with an inch of snow on it..

Back to AKS again today.

Ride height re-set and RARB re-greased as it was noisy.

Alex also fitted a TT-S short shifter for me, plus my MFSW.  Unfortunately I had the wrong controller so I've got another one on its way tomorrow (thanks EDDIE!).

Alex also fitted my shark antenna and set up a few things on VCDS for me.

Navigation stuff now displays on Maxidot:

MFSW in but not working yet:

I also fitted my new mirrors today - gloss black.  Looks good i think!?

Really really nice car.  That interior looks like a nice place to be.  Is that a F/L mfsw with a retrim?

You might be taking that ARB off and re-greasing it a few more times before this year is out...

Ha ha.. yes Alex said I wasn't the first with that problem.

If that's the case I might be binning it..!

No retrim needed, its an OE part.

Skoda UK don't offer the MFSW as an option on a manual car for some reason, and they can't even order the part.. BUT the helpful chaps at skodatiele.cz can get one, either with the boggo black stitching or like mine with the red stitch to match the rest of my interior.

I cut some grooves in the bushes in the hope that the grease stays in for longer.
