+1 but best done with several applications.

Does AG SRP have any cutting properties?

I was under the impression that it was more of a filler?

from the mini2 forum:

This product has been discussed several times and recently it was mentioned on another thread that it contained cutting agents that possibly could remove some paint.

I sent the following email to Autoglym

"Dear Autoglym,

Can you advise if the above polish has any cutting effect on paint. I have a new car (metallic paint MINI) and use this polish and was wondering if it would have any effect on the paint finish.

Should the frequency of application be limited or can I use it as often as I like?

I also use the Extra Gloss Protection. Do any of the above questions apply to it's use?"

and their response was:

"Dear Ken,
If your Mini is brand new you only need apply Extra Gloss Protection. Super
Resin does have cutting ability but not so it would damage your paintwork.
Many dealerships prepare their new cars with this product without any
detrimental effect, they just get a great shine!
You can use the products as often as you wish, but we would recommend a good
treatment of the Extra Gloss before the rain and winter sets in."

So although their are some cutting agents in the polish it is OK to use on new paintwork. Having said that it is probably best to make more frequent use of the Extra Gloss Protection.

Hope this helps everyone like me obsessed with keeping their car looking fantastic.

Ken.

SRP has abrasives in it but it is filler heavy.
