Cheers guys, Already have a few people saying, like the new car...  :P

Next mod on the list is probably going to be colour coded sideskirts, but don't know if spending on £150 is worth it?

Definitely worth it! Mine came colour coded and looks far better for it IMO.

Well I haven't got the side skirts colour coded yet, probably going to be next month  :happy2:

However when I was browsing the site a couple weeks back, I noticed someone painted their calipers green which I thought looked pretty good, so today I got on with the task :)

I did a photoshop of it, but something didn't look right.

Anywho a little update, I bought big al's colour coded sideskirts a couple of weeks back, fitted them yesterday :) Finally after a year and half of owning the GTI everything is colour coded :P

Probably get the wheels refurbed next in anthracite, would love a set of 18 inch, but the tyre ££ would bankrupt me  :fighting:

It's alright mate, changed my mind, my dad's getting his mk6 gti remapped so I'll be buying a downpipe and cat off nige to go to stage 2   :P

Well I had the day off so I gave the car a polish and taken some pics with the htc in a different location other than on my driveway :P

Been a while since I changed anything... Bought 3 metres of carbon wrap wanted to try my hand at it... Only wrapped the centre console for now, surprisingly it was the lower half which seemed hardest to do... Might redo the bottom half as there's bits im not 100% happy about

Well I went abit carbon wrap crazy, wrapped my front grill and removed the plate surround whilst I was there... Taken the mirror casings off and wrapped them as well, really chuffed with the results  :happy2:

Also ordered a small polo aerial on saturday from Wooosh as mine was falling to bits as you can see, looks much better  :P

Well it has come that time to get rid of the Mk5 gti, best car I have had, but the good thing is it is going to a good home, dad prefers this over his mk6.

So just ordered a new 7R,

Tornado Red
3 door,
Manual,
Dynamic chassis control,
Rear view camera,
Leather + heated seats

Wasn't too fussed on any other options

16-20 week wait though!! :(

Cannot wait
