Unite who represent 2000 drivers who account for 90% of those supplying petrol to uk forecourts have now voted to go on strike.

Some 61.1% voted to press ahead with the walkout in the ballot.

Unite has warned that it could bring chaos to the country's forecourts within 48 hours of any action going ahead.

The government has vowed to keep fuel supplies flowing and ministers say they will use emergency powers to bring in the army.

Not impressed. On way to work had to fill up with V-Power and at 6.30 this morning the Shell garage was busy as hell. They will be out by lunch time I imagine, everyone will head to another service station, then another, then PANIC. I blame the press/media for scare mongering. All because the drivers want more money, be grateful you have a f**king job! Sorry.

Your only too right VC, just had to fill up as the car was running on fumes, nearly every Shell Station in and around Telford has no Diesel.... One of the stations has no fuel at all, however a quick detour out into the sticks the Shell station on my way to work still had some.    So sorted, but didn't to put too much in as the car goes early next week...   Oh and I finally met my V Power points token...

As Asda they are queueing 4 deep...utter madness...is Armageddon coming?

I got some Diseasal from my local Shell last night and they were nearly dry.  Only one pump with V-Power Diseasal and one with V-Power Petrol.

Staff were saying it'd been manic.
