I waited for 10 minutes in the motorway services ( lots of pumps ) and the guy infront of me put in £11 of diesel.

+1. It's gotta be something very important for it to be smoked screen by fuel.

I popped into the local Shell garage to fill up (on empty). Ten car queue at 11pm and only two of the four pumps were accessible. 
Normally at this time of night, it's either quiet or full of taxi drivers.

I filled up this morning at tesco. Not particularly busy in Hemel. I need my car to get to work, without my car I earn zero English pfennigs!!

I still maintain its the fault of the media. If they shut there traps none of this would be and issue (also the rescission would have been less severe too)

I was getting near empty so went down to the local garage and OMG!!!!  No V-Power

Had to pop to Tesco's and put some Momentum 99 in, so not a happy bunny, but it was cheaper and better than putting 95ron in.

I guess the 75 litres of Methanol will help if I get desperate. I can add 16% methanol into the tank to 95 ron to get 105 ron, but I don't really want to go there!!!

The thing that makes my piss boil is its all the typical people who use bugger all fuel topping up with £5 just to have a full tank, I bet they are lucky to use a tank of fuel in a month.
