Whos good at maths?
« on: March 26, 2012, 04:06:16 pm »
i need a 200 liter box for a subwoofer.

The box needs to be 200liters after taking into account there will be 2 4" ports 771mm long, these can be in the front or side of the box.

Alternatively if your feeling extra helpful if you could convert the 2 4" ports into a slot port.

The box will accommodate a 12" driver so the front of the box needs to have enough height for that.

*i will give 1,000,000 internet points to the helpful member.

For those interested i'm building 2 of these, tuned to 17hz and will be going in my home cinema room along with my other recent purchases.

Thanks!

*Please note internet points are actually useless and if you tried cashing them in you will be met with one of the many "fail" pictures on the internet

I don't see why you are building sub enclosures. Doesn't your sub come within it's own box?

The only sub that comes close to what i'm about to build is a bk monolith, that sub is £550 and still doesn't go as low or is as musical. I'm using 2 12" SE RE Audio subwoofers (car woofers), total cost to me will be about £250.
