does this clutch/DMF look ok to you? also waterpump pic
« on: March 21, 2012, 02:08:43 pm »
bought a LUK repset clutch/DMF and slave cylinder .. boxes came all battered maybe because of the weight anyway
I have taken some pictures and just want some of your opinions on how they look and do you think they'll be ok to fit on the car
thankz

also a pic of the waterpump which has just been taken off yesterday with cambelt kit/waterpump/aux belt/engine mount bolts/crankshaft pulley bolts/fuel filter done for the amount of £210 including coolant ( amount was only for labour so all in together £210 labour + £185 for parts all genuine VW parts) waterpump looks very good.. infact in the begining I couldn't tell it was the used one, anyway a ''plastic waterpump'' went back in the car because how I see it, if the waterpump looks that good and can last that long without any problems, then it can do it again :happy2:

heres the pics AHOY!

Don't be tight on a part like that.I wouldn't dream of having a cambelt done without changing the pump, you do jobs like that together to save paying out for the labour again later.

lol guys.. a brand new waterpump went back in.. I put a genuine plastic one back in not a ''metal impeller'' one, that's all
