I was supporting Frank Wrathall as my employer sponsors the Dynojet team. He was doing some cracking over takes at old hairpin but kept making mistakes and giving places back.

He made some awesome moves today.  Slightly all or nothing, but good to watch  :driver:

Yup he's a top lad too who believes in clean racing (like his battle with Collard in race 1)

I loved the race today and sounds were awesome. I love the wastegate sounds of these turbo BTCC cars lifting off the throttle. No dv on these badboys. Wastegate all the way like I had on my old FRS. It was a shame about Plato in the second race but he made up for it in the last race. I think I was cheering the loudest lol. Next one for me is Oulton Park

Well dunno about the other cars but when I had a nosey at the Pirtek Civic engine bay I think there's a shiny DV on the IC to Manifold Pipe.

Sorry, I was more referring to the audible sound they make.  No DV noise wooshing away but you could hear the wastegate twittering.  Thats proper turbo sound and wish my car did that as standard

said it after the brands meet that Plato is a dirty fecker. I cheered when he went off in the 2nd race, the irony was that he was trying to take out collard and ended up coming off worse

doesn't matter if sheddon was being defensive, what else is he supposed to do on the final lap, if Plato is quicker it is his obligation to overtake him if he wants to get by not punt him off from 100 yards back. What a disgrace, 2 sec penalty is not enough, he should have been DQ'd, it wasn't over exuberance it was calculated and appalling in it's complete and utter lack of skill.

Funny thing is that i think Plato is great for the BTCC, brilliant driver when he isn't being dirty and every sport needs a bad guy  :rolleye:

I think they should let them run as much boost as they want.

I'm surprised no one has moaned about the apparent pace of the MG. I wonder if they're running more boost than everyone else cos JP can get that car coming out of corners much faster than others
Everyones got different boost levels depending on whos engine they are running. Honda and Pirtec have got the lowest boost because Neil Brown does the best job! So wouldn't surprise if Alan Gow has let the MG have a bit more to make it interesting/close!
