I spent all of last night looking at DIY gps trackers or one cheap idea is to install a PAYG mobile hidden in the car and then in this instance you could do a phone search and at least it would tell you the general area with a site like this http://www.traceamobile.co.uk/

Obv using actual 'tracker' would be best but thats £200 per year plus several hundred to install.

Hope the insurance is kind to you.

Yup Just at the top of the A10 before you get to the M25, around the corner form the Maccy Dee's. Worth keeping an eye out for 19" Gun metal CH's in the north london. They're a lighter colour than the usual anthracite refurbs that normally crop up.
