^^ adding more confusion

I wont fit mine like this as im not happy with them.

Are they an MOT fail like this?

Thanks for the replies  :happy2:

Not sure whether the Banjo bolt config will result in an MOT fail but can speak from experience that not having a suitable clip to secure the line at the body mount is, HEL supply the correct butterfly clip in their kits  :happy2:

I emailed a company selling HEL brake lines and they had a striaght banjo aswell so this must be the norm.

Put my mind at rest a bit more and hopefully get mine fitted soon.

Why are my HEL angled then?

+ 1, from an engineering point of view I wouldn't be happy if they weren't angled as the bend in the line would be too harsh when using the line bracket on the rear of the caliper..

Hose companies have not a clue about original fitment it surprises me not a bit you've been sent straight banjos as that's the same as the GTI.....I mean if you're HEL or good ridge how different can they be....right?

I've got VAG10s in stock same as. Rich's if you'd like some

I've never supplied rear hoses, the scale of expansion is exponential to the length of unsupported hose internally so a 300mm hose will have 4 times the problem that a 150mm hose has....

I also don't want to set about my new hoses with a file and as yet NOBODY supply's the correct fitting for golf rear yet they all supply rear hoses.....
