Oh I managed to do this last time I visited santa pod:

The first run we had the powerflex dogbone mount rubber insert broke in half, leaving some on the start line.
We then replaced the whole mount with an OEM one in  a rush job, and on the first run back, this happened on the burn up, we still did a 13.5 run with it broken though  :P

I had the two side engine mount replaced with VWRacing mounts recently, but they did not realise the lower mount had not been done, thats done now thankfully, so this shouldnt happen again.  :happy2:

As i have had the same problems BNAutoteknik has made the reinforced mount for me as shown in this link, maybe you should consider getting the same done?

Went to santa pod this weekend for some runs, and had a few goes on the handling course, which was fun  :driver:

Performance wasnt too good, im really not good at quarter miles, cant control the power at the start and gear changes arnt great.
Due to the massive wheelspin at the start I only managed 13.47 @ 113.77. this could should do twleves if driven properly!

The handling course was much better though..

Would you not be interested in trying some drag radials just to see what it can do with some grip?

Your car sounds very good Dan. Briefly saw you again at the end of the day too. You should be kicking down 12's on the strip. Get those launches practiced :happy2:

I had the helmet on normally, apart from one run, and at the end tell told me to wear a helmet!

What Hp you got now Dan?

You ever thought of following in mYgels footsteps?

Here's a graph from Friday night. No-water meth at the moment, its broken. Possible boost leak as well, doesnt seem to be making as much boost as it should.

And yes, following in mYgels footsteps did cross my mind!

Nice result there Dan. Be interesting to see the difference when the WMI is working too.

Don't let it cross your mind, let it stick there  :signLOL:

Do it! How about being the first DSG Leon retrofit too (that I know of) :innocent:

Well better start updating this again as things are happening.

Been off the road for a few weeks for a few reasons.
Firstly treating it to a brake caliper refrub, the Red AP's are looking a bit worse for wear currently, and some new fluid (ATE super blue) and some supposidly awesome Project Mu brake pads from the legendary DaveB  :happy2:
Will give a full report on the pads once they are on.

But thats not the real reason its off the road... Something BIG is happening, all will be revelaed in a couple of weeks though to make it the ULTIMATE sleeper

watch this space
