Fk ak street coil overs
« on: March 28, 2012, 10:38:40 pm »
Hey guys I was lookin round for some springs and found that for not too much more I could get these...
http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufacturer_product.php?manufacturer=FK&category=suspension&product=AKStreetCoilovers&make=VW&model=Golf%20Mk%205

I am presuming a few people on here run them, what are they like?

Sorry if there is a load of threads about this.

Pictures would be cool if anyone has them of their cars on them?

What are your requirements for the product and the desired end result?

If you want super cheap and not really fussed about quality, driving improvements and longevity then these will be fine.

i want about an 80mm drop which these products will obviously do but i am guessing from your reply they are pretty poor quality. what would you recommend? i dont want to spend the earth, but at the same time i want them to last and be reasonable quality.

cheers for your reply

Tbh anything with an 80mm drop will drive poorly.

Px do you not think it is worth lowering my car that much? I was thinking about h and r super sport springs, do you think these may be a better option? Appreciate your input

If I was to get could which would best? I ain't bothered about 120mm drop or anything like that just a noticeable drop which will look half decent with staggered wheels and ride half decent.

Bilstin B12 are a good option, can get these with the sportline springs which give a nice drop with good ride.
