the car locks at a certain speed (something like 8mph) and unlocks when you take the key out of the ignition and the beep is to confirm you've locked your car, was done on vcds

Just picked up PCV valve and fitted it,  part no was 06f 129 101 N,  :smiley: thats another job of the list

Little update, replaced cv gator, new number plate bulbs, new cabin filter, order a few more little bits from vw which should be here tomorrow, main thing i have done is replace the standard dv valve with a rev D piston type dv valve,





As you can see my old one was completly shot, it had the tear you can see and also had 2 smaller holes around the other side, the car is now a completely different car it actually pulls  :signLOL: since moving from a diesel to this one i wasnt sure what it should feel like but now after replacing the dv its much more what i expected and the mpg has increased too so very happy  :happy2:

I've been seeing a lot of people saying they have changed the dv. So I'm going change mine at the weekend :) can i ask how much it was mate?

Got a few more goodies from vw today, nothing to exciting,


and after replacing engine cover(airbox), revision d diverter valve and revision n PCV valve, i can now say i have a gti, the difference is massive, its like a mini remap so am  :jumping: ,  just have to keep an eye on the speedo as it does rise quick   :evilgrin:

...........had the auto lock/un-lock set on mine just need to get my mate to set the beep when locking. :happy2:

Just a small update, have fitted a new rear wiper blade, new rear disc guard, rear discs and fuel filter.
still have a noise coming from the front when driving so am going to be replacing driver side wheel bearing and top strut mount hopefully sunday and 4 wheel alignment next week then hopefully then i can start tuning  :smiley:

Fitted a new wheel bearing on front driver side on the weekend and finally my car is quiet lol, have had a noise comin from the front since I got it an finally the car is in good shape so can start thinking about modding :-)
