Machine polisher

As noone wants to lend me a polisher   What do you guys think of this kit, looking to remove the swirl marks from my graphite blue GTi?

Any reason why you're going for a rotary?

DA tends to be more preferred for beginners as it's user friendly and less likely to cause paintwork damage through user technique.

Mostly because its not that expensive - I'm not too worried about paintwork damage as I am pretty mechanically minded (and you can learn anything from youtube) what do you think of the P1?

It's not as easy at it looks in a video. If your going down this route. I'd recommend getting a scrap panel to trial on first to get a hold of the technique.

If you have not used a rotary before it's well advised to buy a scrap panel and get to grips with it first before using it on your own car..... I would recommend buying a good Dual action polisher as its more user friendly, especially of the less experienced.

The orbital one looks like a bargain for a begginner! may have to invest for summer!
