My favourite tip for using launch control is.....

...don't use launch control  It puts you into a frenzy of wheelspin.

Just try to get into 2nd and 3rd as quick as you can to keep hold of your traction  :drinking:

you need to go into jussas car.. now that thing launches like no f***ing tomurrow!! minimal spin but thats put down because of awd!

To help with the spinning and wheel hop I'd definitely recommend the VW racing lower engine mount, one of the best mods I ever did when I had my GTi at stage 2+  :happy2:

I swear I read somewhere that certain DSGs don't have launch control. Namely those without steering paddles.

True. All ed30s have it but not all DSG cars.

I think I would end up with bald tyres if I did launch control in mine (I have actually never tried it!)

Is that an alternative to the WALK kit or something different? Also have you got a link to the item?

Mine has paddles and is a stage 2 so once this sleet and rain clears up im gonna go out and give it a good blast! Btw has anyone used dynolicious app for the iphone.. Measures bhp and 0-60 times.. My car measured at 314hp they say it can be up to 20bhp out from actual readings.

It's the lower sub frame mount that you want.  :drinking:
