Are these Braided hoses the correct fitment?

As per title.

I bought these recently and they are for S3/R32/cupra fitment.
The fronts have a banjo fitting on one end. The originals dont. My thoughts are they wont fit or am i having a blond moment?

The short ones are for the rear. They look like they will fit. can anyone confirm?

My HEL hoses are a banjo fitting iirc, you do away with the small rigid pipe on the rear of the caliper with aftermarket hoses and just use the banjo straight on

Haha i was deffinately having a blond moment.

Just realised they also replace the small bore pipe connecting the original hose to the caliper

I think the banjo connector on the longer hose (front hose) should be angled... well... at least my HEL ones are.

If that banjo connecter isn't angled, its gonna be put the hose under strain to get it through the retaining bracket.

The connector is straight. I have just trial fitted them and its not putting too much flex into the hose

The design would have been better if the banjo fitting was angled like yours though . . . .  .

yep they won't work pal unless you ditch the bracket and they're floating around in the wind.

They've only got one mid line fitting which is the give away, for an extra 30p and an angled fitting they'd be ok.

There's a lot of people selling hoses who just guess what they should be like, have the rears got a square section removed from the fitting? Unless you file away the caliper they won't fit either

Although make sure they have also supplied the butterfly clips that secure the hose at the rigid pipe / body junction as my first set of HEL hoses didnt have these and the flexing caused the outer sheath to crack after only 3 months, new set with the clips still look brand new after 15 months..

Looks like thats exactly how they are designed Dave. Would you say they are no - good to fit?

The shorter rear HEL hoses have a perfectly round end to them (behind the yellow cap on your photo). If you look at the silver bracket on the S3/R32 caliper, the hole on it which the hose pokes through may not be perfectly circular; it may have a flat part to it with a little notch in it which the OEM hose is shaped to fit through. So the hole it goes through looks more like a D than an O but the end of the HEL line is O shaped if that makes sense.

A round file and two minutes of filing will allow you to round off the hole so that the HEL line will poke through it.

Ive just ordered a set of goodridge braided hoses and they are the striaght banjo aswell.

So can i use them or do i need to send them back to demon tweeks ?????????

Buy the HEL ones, with the angled ends. I wouldn't like mine to me fitted without the bracket in place.
