xenon headlight level sensors

hi guys

Im after some help car went into vw to have its mot done
I had said to them that the headlight aim seems a bit high could you have a look .
got a phone call to say that the rear level sensor arm had broken and would need a new sensor .
have just had a phone call to say that both level sensors arnt communicating and the headlight aim is still to high and would need a new front level sensor
could anybody shed any light plz .

It's possible that both sensors are broken..

There is a control module they connect to and I would expect fault codes to be logged or no readings to be recorded on the sensor angle if the sensors are duff.
