Hi guys
Thought I would share my new purchase, a turbo back exhaust from blueflame performance. I’ve been looking to get a system for a while and I have spoken to them many times. I think they where sick of hearing from me every other week LOL
I wanted milltek but decided I wanted to be different, as most people have milltek, according to different reviews on different exhaust companies such as:
Milltek
Scorpion
Magnex
Blueflame
I couldn’t find one review on an mk5 gti with scorpion, so I ruled it out… I didn’t want to be that different!
Then be upset after making a mistake.
Milltek have good reviews, some people have had rust issues on the welding near the exhaust tips and some people said they are over rated. But the reason I turned it down was the price as I was working on a budget.
Magnex, again couldn’t find much info, but read they were made by Blueflame?
I don’t know how true that is, but the prices of a Magnex are more expensive than Milltek.
Blueflame performance
, what can I say it has transformed my car and I smile while I drive!
I love my car even more now. It’s just spiced it up! I read nothing but good things about them and the quality is meant to be better than Milltek.
Some people said that the Blueflame systems are loud
, all I can say is that it now it is giving the car a nice deep growl when driving… PERFECT!
It’s not chavy or annoying… I can’t hear any drone in the car or boom sounds
… I do a lot of motorway driving and my daily drive I cover 45-50 miles… I hear nothing! Obviously only if I put my foot down!
My normal mpg was average 36mpg now its 38.9mpg when driving sensible, its already paying its self off
.
I managed to bag myself a brilliant deal. The system should have been £1195, but they have a discount offer on the website with 20% for a limited time. This makes the system at £956 plus fitting.
BUT I didn’t pay that
I PAID….
£750 fitted WTF!!!!!
100cell highflow cat and cat back for £750
it cant be possible, I really cant believe I got it at this price. They said it was a special offer on the MK5 golf exhausts and was on till the 13th April
I hope this helped anyone who was in the same predicament as me.
