I hate remakes in general. They tend to be crap and miss the point of the original.

I wanna know who will play the three-breasted alien.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

It was one of my favourite films for ages until I watched it again after a few years break.  I then realised how dated is was, so I for one am welcoming the remake.

Should be a good one!

This version is set on Earth. Not sure there are any mutants in it, but i am looking forward to it immensely.

I agree. :happy2:

And this just reinforces the first quote.
The whole premise of the first film is that it was set on Mars which was owned and run by a Mining company who had pretty much a carte blanche to do what they wanted and had control over the Atmosphere and therefore the population.Moving it to Earth just screams "Green bandwagon" to me and I think it'll be another Day the Earth stood still and try and make us all feel guilty for driving our cars and using aerosols!!  :fighting:

Probably won't stop me seeing it though! :popcornsoda:

Day the Earth Stood Still, now that was the WORST remake of all time. Blinding original in B/W, all time claasic in my opinion! The remake of Total Recall can't be worse, can it?
