I thing a few have had it done both at VWR and Statler's in Sheffield.
Without traction power is nothing!

.
It's best to find a workshop which has done them before rather than be a Guinea Pig, especially if DSG version.

- VWR in Milton Keynes

- Statler's in Sheffield

- JKM in Portsmouth

Doubtless there are others but I know I can recommend those without hesitation  :happy2:

....The best part of a day I think (DSG). I left it with VWR for several days.

VWR remove and refit, but the diff itself is fitted by a gearbox place up at Silverstone.

....Yep, they did say it was going to be done by a gearbox specialist but I didn't know it was off their premises. No problem, as long as any work on my car is done by someone who knows what they're doing.

:surprised: :surprised: :surprised:, you've lost the plot mike

Id bet if you put a wavetrac LSD, a pelogiuin normal LSD, peloquin hi torque LSD and a quaife LSD in 4 identical cars and drove them all you wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

The new Hi-Torque diff is exactly that.   New.  Before this came around people werent running them and saying its not worth it.  Its still a big improvement over an open diff.

If your going down that route of you need higher torque diffs, you should be looking at plate diffs instead.  Its widely regarded that an ATB diff is not in the same league as a plate diff

I feel the difference between the old VWr demo  golf, mine & nicks golf (VWR/StevePs & nicks are quaiffe)

Why did you not go for the quaiffe diff Mike?

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box
