convert to high line how to?
« on: April 08, 2012, 11:05:30 pm »
searched around a bit and found all sorts of bits n bobs about how this is done but don't really understand some of the technical terms used! currently have a midline that i wish to upgrade so if anyone has a definitive guide as to how this is done then id really appreciate it!
or links to an already existing how to that I've missed would also be great
Also I've bought a multifunction steering wheel as my car didn't originally have it so if it can all be tied in that'd be great!

For the MFSW, depending on the year of your car you will need a new slip ring (possibly), multifunction loom and steering controller.

For the highline, its easier to take your exisiting clocks out and find your code on the back of it and go from there!  :happy2:

You don't need to remove your clocks, get a scan with VCDS and you'll find your code in controller 17 instruments  :happy2:
