Mk7 Golf RS for me please!!!!!  :jumpmove:

But ONLY in a 3dr!!!!

Give me a "More Door" RS (Golf Clubs and Dogs, it makes sense!), if they make one im sure they will price it the usual £2K under Audi prices and £2K above Seat prices, anyone for a Golf RS for £37K?

....And if you love every mile in it then so what what you paid for it. How much have I spent on modding my Mk5 GTI? - No! Don't ask!! I actually dare not calculate it but do know I have absolutely no regrets.

very true, hmm may just keep my diesel and go from 140bhp to 300 odd in one hit, grin factor at its best, and will prob make me forget the price tag :driver:

Just need details of a MK7 GTD RS now, keep the diseasal fans happy (probably 240bhp would do it)  :happy2:

They would just need to use a tweaked version of the twin turbo engine found in the VW Transporter, that currently runs 180BHP - I have one, they are great, and really surprise a few rep mobiles on the road

.....Yes but it will never sound as glorious as a 2.5 turbo'd RS engine. Sound is very very big factor in an enthusiast's choice of car.

Saw this article in that mag the other day too at work and it looks very promising..... worded as though the GTI and R versions are definites but the RS with the 2.5L is yet to be signed off on by VW so is 50/50 if it will ever even be made  :sad1:

Just checking to see if you can sell body parts on e-bay  :signLOL: surely one kidney and lung would be enough

Agreed, but I'm on about diesel here, not petrol.

Oh yeah forgot about the bluemotion version mentioned too  :signLOL: kind of a weird combo being a GTI but hunting for higher mpg etc?  :stupid:

Maybe its just for efficiency and help with aero stuff?
