Good afternoon chaps,
Just a little write up of what ive had in over the bank holiday weekend for paint correction detail.
The car is question is a 2006, Quattro Sport TT. One of only 250 in this colour I believe.
For a 6 year old car, it wasn't in bad shape. However, it had lost alot of its paint depth and had some truly aweful scratches to the gloss black roof and the bonnet. (A cat had taken up residence there!!!!)
The TT was dropped off late on Friday evening so we got cracking.....
Unfortunately we ran out of sunshine so had to drag her inside for an intensive claying session and de-tarring.
Up at the crack of dawn we started on the worst areas, with a 3 stage correction on the roof and the bonnet.
Luckily, we managed to avoid wet sanding the bonnet as the abrasives did their job! :)
The camera managed to die half way through the correction stage so unfortunately you are only allowed one slight 50/50 shot, which shows the added clarity in the paint.
Batteries charged, I managed to get a few final pics of the TT & and few details before she rolled out...
Nearly done!! I hope you enjoyed the pictures, as much as I enjoyed working on the TT.
As always, comments are more than welcome.
Thanks
Nick
