I had one and it sounded and performed great. However i couldnt live with the noise of intakes so I put the OE airbox back on.

iv always had a k&n they are one of the top dogs when it comes down to air filters and performance intakes. they always seem to be one of the first to bring out a filter for a new car and theyre pod filters are very nice - good quality, price and sound! good gains too (like most)

oil based air filters are not recommended as they can mess up the maf sensor so ive been told go for the itg or pipercross as they are not oil based

Oiled filters only mess up the maf when people over oil them after cleaning. Ive had K&N on all my cars and never had any probs with mafs. Once re oiling, I blot the filter with kitchen towel to remove any excess oil.

x2

iv never heard of any problems with maf, you would need to soak your filter with oil to do any damage - and i mean soak - which you shouldnt be doing anyway. heard nothing but good thing about the evoms kit apart from.the noise being slightly loud.
