This is long over due....

The problem..

Just before comming home from Germany last Aug/Sept I had the car Jacked up to change the rear brake pads.  Moments before I slid the Axle Stand under the car fully the Jack / Widdow maker gave up on life....

The car landed on the axle stand but with the sill taking the weight of the car  :sick: :sick: Leaving a fist sized dent in my sill.  It makes me sick every time I look at it!

Picture paints a thousand words;





Could anyone point me to a body shop in my area that you would trust with your pride & joy.  That doesnt cost the earth (dare I say as I have you get what you pay for philosiphy with things like this...)

I need to pull my finger out & get some quotes.

Send bakili a pm on here mate i was chatting to him yesterday and he told me about a garage he took his old bmw to that got him some dents out, hes also from Doncaster :-)

Mike - retford auto finishes are the bomb. Several 'grounded' cars been painted. There ( big vw scene queens) and Chris Evans had a ferrari painted there. I could run you home too if you dropped it off!

Not mega dear either.

Reflex Auto Design, they built the Caddy that won three awards at Ultimate Dubs. I think they're based in Northampton. I spoked to Marc at heavenly detail about their work as he detailed the caddy before the show, he said it's extremely good and he wouldn't think twice about having work carried out by them.

Or there's Greg Howell, his work is nothing but perfect, he's in Warwickshire.
