You're right, not sure why people don't want to attend. Still, we have 7 so far and more than a month to go
Quote from: Jussa on May 06, 2012, 12:53:39 pmYou're right, not sure why people don't want to attend. Still, we have 7 so far and more than a month to go ....One reason is that there is already a well attended rolling-road day only a couple of weeks later (down the road at JKM). Folks don't need or want to get their cars dyno'd quite so frequently. It also costs another ~£35 a session, wherever held. Another reason is possibly lack of faith in a host who is not already well established as reliable for VAG cars with DSG. All those reasons are certainly why I am not attending - Sorry but I'm just being honest with you.
This still defo happening? not seen much posted lately Dave
I will come along to this Put my name down to run please
Quote from: simonp on April 21, 2012, 06:29:38 pmI suspect the reason for this is that Justin has an S3 and JKM don't/won't cater for Haldex cars.http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,43802.msg519688.html#msg519688....Yes I think you are probably right. I stand to be corrected but I think that JKM don't run Haldex cars on their dyno because they don't believe the results with a 'pulled' Haldex would be meaningful. Is Eurospec's Dyno-Dynamics actually a 4WD rolling road like Ray West's is?

Is Eurospec's Dyno-Dynamics actually a 4WD rolling road like Ray West's is?Just for future info, I ran an S3 recently in FWD with the fuse pulled and in 4wd with traction control both on and off. There was a peak difference of 3.4bhp between the 3 different methods and the dyno graphs were virtually identical.
