Rolling road day Eurospec Guildford Saturday 16th June 2012
« on: April 12, 2012, 03:03:35 pm »
Guys, just had a chat with Eurospec in Guildford.
They have a Dyno Dynamics roller setup and can cater for 2 or 4 wheel drive cars  :happy2:
They mainly tune Japanese cars, but for RR days they cater for everybody.
As long as we get 13 cars minimum it's £35 or less than 13 cars it will be £40 with 3 power runs and printouts.
They also put on free drinks, tea biscuits etc. as stated on the website

Guildford isn't too far from JKM's Dyno-Dynamics down the glorious A3 in Portsmouth. I'm planning another Dyno-Day at JKM in September/October so when are you planning yours?

JKM specialise in VAG and especially the 2.0T FSI platform. The Japanese tuning speciality puts me off due to a previous experience, also on a Dyno-Dynamics rollers.

I suspect the reason for this is that Justin has an S3 and JKM don't/won't cater for Haldex cars.

....Yes I think you are probably right. I stand to be corrected but I think that JKM don't run Haldex cars on their dyno because they don't believe the results with a 'pulled' Haldex would be meaningful. Is Eurospec's Dyno-Dynamics actually a 4WD rolling road like Ray West's is?

It's a good question, I have no idea why there has been no interest
SimonP is correct, JKM don't do 4wd and this place does (it's also a Dyno Dynamics) and their reviews are good.
Another thing as well is that it's a hell of a lot closer for me (and I'm sure others) than Portsmouth.

I'd be up for coming along for a Perv.

Jussa, it may help if you post a proposed date, i find that if you put all the info out there people will make a decision and come along.  :happy2:

I think the question to ask is, do they have any experience with dynoing a dsg car.

Good idea, but don't the new Skylines have a DSG type equivalent?
