sixth gear

hi my golf is surposed to be a stage two remap(previous owner no paperwork to confirm this) it dosent seem to have a lot of pull in sixth gear and runs out of steam at about 120-130mph. is this normal?? :confused:

A k03 tends to run out of puff starting around 5k rpm.
Without traction power is nothing!

On a stage 2 you should pull to 150mph without too much effort. May have boost leak, faulty dv, faulty pcv, or something else. Get codes read.

Or maybe it's not stage 2 & that's why it isn't pulling hard in sixth. Best bet is to get it on a RR & measure the power that way. Then as mentioned check for boost leaks etc....

are we talking stage 2 on gti or ed30?? on gti above 130 mph it would be some effort but ed30 should be effortless enough
