Hi Chaps,
Following a feature we carried out for GTPorsche magazine earlier in the year, the soon to be owner of a 2012 Audi TT, S-Line Black Edition contacted us after being intrigued and impressed by the process we had outlined in the feature. It was arranged that we would carry out a full protection detail on the vehicle on delivery, and that Zaino would be the chosen protection option!
You can check out the GTPorsche feature,
HereSo, with just over 200 miles on the clock the car arrived looking something like this:
A chip on leading edge of the door, which was later touched in.
Special delivery!
Some free residue from the dealer!
Interior was treated first. Despite Audi having carried out a full PDI there were various bits of paper, barcodes, stickers and dirt from production evident in the interior:
All surfaces were thoroughly hoovered, using various attachments:
Leather treated to Zaino Z9/Z10 twins.
Fabrics treated with G-techniq Smart Fabric.
Moving onto the exterior:
Tyres/arches cleaned with AS G101, Vikan Brushes.
Wheels cleaned with AS Smart Wheels, Valet Pro/Lambswool brushes.
A LOT of Iron X was used, not wanting to be put off my lunch extra precautions were taken!
For a car thats covered just over 200 miles, pretty bad!
Car was then de-tarred with Tardis which revealed no tar contamination, re-foamed and thoroughly rinsed to remove all traces of decontamination products.
Car was then pulled inside and dried off.
Engine bay given a quick once over.
Paintwork lightly polished via DA, 3M Yellow Pad and Dodo Juice Lime Prime.
Wheels sealed using Zaino CS.
Paintwork wiped down with Zaino Z6, then treated with Z2/ZFX as sealant. This was mixed accordingly, then each layer applied and allowed to cure for around 30 minutes
Following Zaino application, finishing touches including Glass, Tyres, Exhausts etc were attended too, leaving the finished results!
Thanks for looking!
