Side Lights Bulbs
« on: April 17, 2012, 03:15:08 pm »
Sorry for asking if it was asked already
I am after white effect side lights bulb error free, which one do you use guys? I replaced bulbs with xenon type bulbs, which gives white bright look on headlights. But side lights spoils everything, they are orange/yellow.

Can someone kindly post link, which ones to buy

Thanks

I've got the Mtec sidelights to compliment my h7's but they are useless if you just have the sidelights on, can't tell they are on when behind the wheel. On the plus side, they look good.

Yep sidelights are 501 w5w, they just pull out but it can be difficult, as it can be hard to get a good grip on the holder.  I used some long nosed pilers.  :happy2:

Make sure you pull and gently twist the actual holder and not the wires  :happy2:

Yes I remember my driver's side was a real b***h to get out especially due to the limited room available. Ended up with lots of cuts and bruises.
