Mines went down slowly until it got to 500 miles then after 100 miles came on "Service now", I got it serviced the week later.

Mine was the Major service (£269 at VW done in January), its now booked in to VW on tuesday for its cambelt/waterpump service and also having brake fluid change done and aircon cleaning and re-gassing (they did me a deal on all 3 so it worked out cheaper than going ot my local Indy!)
