RNS510 BLUETOOTH

Reading up on BLUETOOTH kits need some help AGAI. I have

04 GT with RNS510, Highline, MFSW.................what bluetooth kit would I need to get full use of the RNS, Highline and MFSW. Read somewhere that some kits you can't get to work with all three options? Please advise

You have 3 options

1. 5N0 035 730 A,B or C
Works with Highline, RNS / RCD 510 and MFSW (you must have a fully functioning Menu button) Phone button works too
The only downside is Phone compatibility, does'nt work with Iphone (although Darren did get it to work with an Iphone 3 using jailbreak)

2. 1Z0 035 729 and B
Works with Highline, RNS / RCD 510 and MFSW (Phone button doesn't work)
Works with all phones
Expensive compared to other kits

3. 7P6 035 730 versions and 5K0 035 730 versions
Works with RNS / RCD 510 and MFSW (Phone button works) No highline control. Although if you buy a Polar FIS Advanced you will have Highline Control
Works with all phones

7P6 and 5K0 with polar advanced

I think the 5p0 is only for the white highline and can only be paired through the highline so it can't be used on cars with a red highline

hmm this says its for the red highline  http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Telephone_Retrofitting and that the 1z0 superseeded it

Yeah your right about the one you asked about, it's only rev D that's for white highline

Can I ask what phone you would use?

I've got the VW Premium Kit for sale but it won't work with iPhones.
It's a shame cos it does everything else.
You can even read text messages on screen as well as lots of Bluetooth features.

What aboout the KUFATEC kits?

Phone wise - we mainly have Nokia's, Blackberrys and iphone. Basically I want a kit that will work with the ALL the functions of the car. It has higline, MFSW etc. - I want to use them.

The VW premium works with everything. Just not iPhones

there different again i believe, iirc you have a seperate screen and all but it does connect to the headunit

I think 5P0 doesn't work with RNS510
