'06 GTI 3 door approx 80K how much?

Hi,

Im sorry to be a pain constantly asking for help on here but wanted to know how much one should pay for a car with the following spec:

GTI
06 Reg
3 Door
DSG
XENONS
18's
Leather
MFSW
Full service history (according to seller)
Metallic black
2 owners

The car will be brought from a trader.

If bought from a trader £7.7k,private around £6.5k.Good spec though. :smiley:

I think 6K will be a little too low? I too was thinking of round about the 7K mark. 7.5 was about what I was thinking I should pay for it. The dealer wants 8.5.

Too muddy waters a little I've got a polo 1.4SE ac 75 bhp with 64k 3 door '03 plate that I'm looking to part excange it's service is due next month and tax expires as well  end of this month.   What should I expect?

eta I'm yet to enter negotiations.  The seller is adamant the motors mint.

Been offered £7k for my 05 plate 5dr manual with 70k miles as a trade in.  I think they were keen to make a sale but might give you some ideas.  Did start at 6k though.

He may say its mint... but you will more than likely find some mint ones on here also, usually with a traceable past. dealers make their money on making scruffy looking motors tidy.

8.5k is pushing it with 80k mileage. 7-7.5k is a more realistic figure but I'd still expect FVWSH. Its a buyer's market at the moment so you can afford to be picky. Nevertheless the spec is good with options that are expensive and (for people like me) difficult to retrofit later.
