Car cover
« on: April 21, 2012, 05:22:03 pm »
Can anyone recommend a decent car cover? About to move house and the new place has lots of trees out front (read lots of bird watsit to ruin the paint!)

Cheers

Hi, I don't know enough about GTI car covers, but from my other car experience unless your car is absolutely 100% clean then putting a car cover on/off can cause scratches as they dirt gets dragged across the bodywork.

It might be better to invest in some high quality wax and wash off any offending bird 'business' as and when it happens.

Couldn't agree more, unless you get your car detailed prior to covering you will destroy the paint work, imho.
