For any mk2 golf fans....
« on: April 22, 2012, 10:00:47 pm »
I spent my day today detailing this for a mate, it had a full re-spray a couple of years ago and has just had pretty much a full nut and bolt rebuild with everything powder coated. The interior has just been re-trimmed as well, with a few sets of rainbow interiors chopped up to re-trim the recaros, they are perfect  :notworthy:

The car......

And the interior

Sorry for the lack of pictures, my camera rah out of battery. he has a set of 16" BBS RS's for it, but keeps it on these hartgas most of the time except for shows etc. since its just a weekend toy

You could eat your dinner off of any part of this car. It's far from a standard motor either

The owner won't do a build thread either, it would be HHUUUUGEE! Some amount of effort, time and money has gone into this car

I bet , I'd love to see a build thread though , especially if he has pics!- I love the build threads on Detailing World in the Showroom section. Whats the score with the 16V plus badge , Ive never seen one of those before?

Gorgeous

I hope to own a Mk2 GTI when I've got the funds and if it ends up half as clean as this I'll be very happy!

The owner got the 16v plus badge made as a wee quirky thing. Suits it well I think. Mk3 16v tall block with GTi engineering head and lots more

Wow! I think the word 'clean' gets used waaay to often but you can tell from the photos the time and dedication gone into this car, what a stunner. 'Pristine' fits the bill! Well done that man! :congrats:
