well finally insured my first golf gti on thursday night and whilst driving round with a mate of mine we both realised the heated seats were not working. well on saturday out came the multimeter and check the three fuses 2x5amp 1x30amp. to my supprise the 30amp had actually melted into its terminal. ive cleaned the terminal out and fitted another 30amp and there now working. i had my worries about it blowing a 30amp fuse so i spoke to the technition at work and he also said it should be blowing a 30amp fuse like that.
sorry about rambling on but have any of you had a simlar problem or know of what might have caused this ?
