Does the same apply for exhaust systems? Will a k03 exhaust (milltek) fit to a k04 car without any mod. Also I assume a TBE exhaust is a full system? Downpipe, middle section with decat or cat and rear back box? Or would I still need a Downpipe to make a full system?

A ko3 downpipe will fit on a k04 turbo without any modifications needed.
And yes, a TBE is the full exhaust system.
Without traction power is nothing!

i've always wondered why, then, do Milltek charge more for the K04 versions of downpipe?

Probably because the k04 version downpipe is 3" whereas the k03 one used to be 2.75"
