I'm wanting to go to the Ring on the August Bank Holiday weekend and I'm happy to organise and put a trip together. I'm thinking about driving over early on the Saturday morning aiming to arrive around lunchtime then have the afternoon doing all the visiting and museums, Saturday evening the circuit is open for tourists if anyone feels up to it. Then Sunday the circuit is open all day for tourists so we can make the most of it for the day. I went a couple of years back and a 4 lap ticket cost €75 to give an idea for price.
I'm open to suggestions whether people want to camp or stay in a hotel as I understand people may have different budgets.
Here is a very rough breakdown of costings just to give an idea.
Return Ferry (Dover-Dunquirke) £60
Camping per night £15
Hotel per night £40
Ring ticket €25 for 1 lap €75 for 4 laps €150 for a day ticket
