Reasonated/non reasonated pipe and how does it sounds and feel (in terms of driving not physically!) Vs factory.

I'm in the market but would like an honest view not salesman patter.

....Well, I'm not a Milltek salesman but I am a bit of a fanboy!

Thought you were on the Milltek development payroll Robin?

Oh, and I have had various Milltek exhausts on my Mk5 GTI since 2005 and have now done 100,000 miles. So I have good experience of them.

Here's the way mine looks, as an alternative design...

To be honest thats how i want mine to look, do you think they would be able to adjust like this?

Only issue i can see with them like that is the black exhaust gas'es will get on the paintwork around the lower section of the bumper, and more up the rear of the car.

Mine was like that

If you undo the 13mm on the clams for the tips get some masking tape and use a rubber mallet to tap them in while holding the exhaust to stop it moving to much

You can unbolt the rear hanger and move the tips up and down. No bending necessary. I seen QD do it.

Can this adjustment be done on all Milltek systems, even for the S3?
I want mine to sit higher as well  :happy2:

The car pictured is actually mine, had the exhaust on a few weeks now and not noticed any trouble with black exhaust gases up the back, given the fairly "flat" style rear end on the Golf they get fairly dirty anyway. The BCS 80mm tips are by far the best exhaust tips too imo, look bigger but not tooo in your face.  :notworthy:
