Firstly.apologies if this in the wrong section,but not sure where to put this!
I have a reconditioned ABS unit from a previous model Audi S3(8l I think) but I had to buy it as at the time,I needed a new control unit.
Now,I still have the pump and it hasn't been on my car but the control unit is the old one off my old S3(2001 model).
I would like to get shot of both units as they're just taking up space,but I can't seem to find anyone who can repair the control unit or use it as spares.
The pump itself is a fairly robust part and I've had it on Ebay and on other sites a few times now,but with no luck.
Just wondering if anyone on here knows of someone who would want to buy this cheap and repair the control unit and then sell on? Or even repair the unit and send it back to me?
I'm aware that the CU is a common failure on the 8L S3 and that a replacement without the pump from Audi is IIRC around £800.
