The rear pistons are threaded on to a corkscrew type centre pin which is pushed out/in with the handbrake. It sounds like the piston is seized on to the pin. I'm guessing that the piston rewind tool if used to twist the piston a good bit out and then back in will free it up. Give the handbrake a good, strong work out before this as PDT suggests.

Ok mate won't be the piston seized on the pin, that can't really happen after a rebuild. Could be you need to swap out the piston itself, prob best sent to me in honesty.

I'd hook the cable up to it and do your handbrake numerous times....

I can take a look when I get back....

Cheers for the reply Dave, I have sent you an email. 

It is both calipers by the way, and after my mechanic wound the piston out to meet the pads the offside one pissed fluid pass the piston seal!!  :surprised:
