Audi S3 intercooler upgrade

I presume the S3 intercooler is bigger than the ED30 one and improves cooling.

Any other benefits?

Thsi thread people are saying only two pipes, But i just read somewhere you also need some sort of M16 bolts?

I believe that's only with the metal end tanked cooler.

I removed a mk6 cooler to fit a ths cooler and I don't remember it being any different to the standard mk5 cooler.  Would be nice to see the coolers all next to each other for comparison.

Mk. VI GTI + R is thicker than Mk.V GTI. Same thickness as the old S3 IC.
Just plastic end tanks but improved core.

Same thickness as old S3 intercooler or do you mean same as the latest S3 8P?

Both.

Mk.VI GTI = Mk.VI R = Scirocco R = current S3 2010 on = TT-S and some more

All these have the same IC currently. This IC has the same dimensions as the former full metal S3 IC.
