Robin - now we are getting quite close to the big day, I'd like to bring up a comment that R-Tech Nick made following the results from the dyno day back in Feb.
Nick questioned why JKM start the dyno runs so late in the rev range on the K03 Powered cars as he believes this loses us torque (the K03 cars spool much earlier and thus give higher peak readings).
Apparently JKM used to start the runs at a lower RPM (can be seen from their website).
Anyway, here is what Nick said
http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,40255.msg496998.html#msg496998Do you think its worth raising with Jim & the team before we start? I'm aware both R-Tech and JKM are well respected tuners so i'd expect there is a logical explanation as to why JKM changed, but I for one would be keen to know
Cheers,
Graeme
