When I took out a couple of us in my car for a demonstration ride I noticed a couple of the Police on the pavement take a long hard look at me but I was as well behaved as I always am in urban environments so I just stared back from behind my prescription shades (and with my 'Jim Fixed It' badge well hidden).

Last time I got stopped by marked Police they apologised to me and told me what I nice car I had! They thought my Hella DRL's were foglights until I politely proved they weren't.

So has anyone learnt why so many Police were hanging around the JKM area? There must have been something major about to go down judging by the amount of Police. It certainly wasn't undercover!

Could have been a football match on and they needed to keep an eye out near Hilsea station which is just up the road from JKM.

Gone but not forgotten :-)

Unmarked Skoda Vrs  and I came back to warn.

Then about another 5.

The Skoda did have long lingering look at us.

Great day I'll be booking the day off to stay next time.

What is Muckipups spec? Hybrid turbo?

Good chat with James about actuators! :nerd:

May have to act on it before next time.

Muckipups is a TSI with K04, TBE, intake and intercooler.

Bloody good result for that. Is it the tsi engine that ups it?

The TSI seems to make quite a difference over the TFSI.

Not sure why really maybe the head is a bit more efficient.

The heartbreaker broke my heart.

Previously on JKM’s rollers I got 321, Revo2+. On Saturday I had wmi and timing bumped up from 6 to 8.
I was a bit disappointed as the car seems to pull noticeably harder so was expecting more.
The only thing I can think of is the S3 cooler maybe causing a restriction in airflow as I don’t think temps were a problem on Saturday. Maybe a Twintercooler or THS will reduce the pressure drop.
Maybe this is all I’m gonna get with Revo 2+ on an eddy?
Think I may give R Tech a call on Monday. I want K04 with more..

I'm now even more happy with 322. No disrespect intended and I'm glad I have knocked the wmi idea on the head.

Don't ruin it. Its the curve and how it drives that counts.

Be interesting to log the CF's with timing set at 8, even with WMI. All speculation without data logging.

I understand what your saying and don't get me wrong, the car does drive very well. I was just so sure from my butt dyno it was making more than another 15hp and when it didn't I guess I was a little disappointed, especially after putting a fair bit of effort into it.

Have you seen James's curve with WMI? its almost unbelievable   just shows how much the K04 can give with WMI :-and hold the power towards the red line
